This recognition is awarded by the iF International Forum Design GmbH, one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious seals of quality in the field of design.. Since 1954, the iF DESIGN AWARD annually recognizes outstanding achievements in disciplines ranging from product and packaging design to architecture and user experience (UX). It is a brand recognized worldwide as a symbol of excellence and cutting-edge design.
An outstanding achievement in international design
Cala has been awarded in the Product Designdiscipline , within the Textile category. In a highly competitive edition with many entries, Cala has been awarded in the Product Design discipline in the Textile category. from 68 countries. Agora Fabrics managed to position itself among the best.
The jury, composed of 129 independent experts from around the world, evaluated the proposal based on five key criteria: Idea, Form, Function, Differentiation and Sustainability. CALA obtained a final score of 310 points, surpassing the cut-off mark required to be the winner. It especially stood out in the Functionality section , where it scored 70 points.
According to the jury’s verdict, the success of the series lies in: technical innovation, through the use of high-strength materials adapted to demanding environments. For the superior functionality, with the design intended for ease of use and service to the end user. And for the sustainability of the project, which was positively valued for its responsible approach and social benefit.





Cove: The perfect fusion of craftsmanship and innovation
Designed by Santiago Sevillano Studio (Valencia), it proposes a sensory journey to the Atlantic through fabrics that combine design, functionality and durability. Its patterns, textures and colors evoke the natural elements of a cove. The collection includes four types of fabrics with different densities, along with matching ropes and ribbons, allowing the creation of sophisticated, coherent and versatile outdoor spaces.
